I created this LP Club as a way for people who love music to listen and discuss classic records that are not only historically influential but impactful to people's lives. For me personally, listening to an album from front to back by is one of the best ways in fully understanding the artists' craft, persona and writing method. Many artists put a lot of emphasis to craft their album with an overarching concept or theme that is often missed if it isn't listened to as a whole. Listening to albums is a great way to discover, learn and get exposed to different styles and genres of music and also gain a historical appreciation of musical genres too. I hope that everybody's willing to open their tastes to try different kinds of music that they wouldn't normally put themselves on to.

I'm scheduling this club to meet either the last-Tuesday or last-Thursday of each month. The LP of the Month is listed above with a streaming link for everybody to listen. As some types of albums and music do tend to grow with people on repeated listens, I do recommend giving the record multiple full-listens (if your schedule allows it read the lyrics too).  When we meet we can share our thoughts and feelings about the record (just like a book club would).
